So if you pick up a rock off the side of the road and declare it as art it is obviously art? I don't think so.
I have seen some stuff on this website that is most definatly NOT art (such as photos of a man pulling his anus open and doing a turd in another mans mouth - no mature content warning either. I will never push random deviation again) So perhaps you should think before you say art is whatever you want it to be, Because you could not be further from the truth.
Besides, Repetitive photos of you from obscure angles isn't art - once or twice mabey.. but thats all your gallery is...

I heard something about how this man dug a hole and said the hole was his art...

I think what ~sarahlawson is saying is that everyone has their own deffinition of what art is. I do think that certain photos are more about memories and/or advertising - etc, but I think art can't really be defined.

Or at least that's what I've always heard.

I thought I already relied to this comment but it was in my messages... so yeah, again I do agree with you on that one. Just the comment you made about picking up a rock calling it art - in some galleries there are loads of rocks all arranged and stuff. I saw a photo in her gallery afterwards and there was a picture of drugs n a packet? I didn't really see that as art...
